Remnants is a glitchy polaroid series documenting the world around me right now. This project started when Hawaii went into it's first lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I was limited to staying in my apartment, apartment complex and neighborhood and so I decided to take my polaroid camera with me and capture the eerie atmosphere. Some places were empty when they once were bustling, while sometimes I caught people gathering when they shouldn't. The "glitches" seen in the images are hand manipulated out-of-camera.
